Season Ticket Delay Repay: How Much You Can Claim
How Delay Repay works for weekly, monthly, annual and flexi season tickets, including the official journey divisors.
Season ticket holders are entitled to Delay Repay on every delayed journey — not just once per ticket. The refund is based on the value of a single journey, worked out by dividing the season ticket price by a set number of journeys.
Official season ticket divisors
| Ticket | Divide price by | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | 10 | £120 ÷ 10 = £12.00 per journey |
| Monthly | 40 | £460 ÷ 40 = £11.50 per journey |
| Annual | 464 | £5,000 ÷ 464 = £10.78 per journey |
| Flexi (8 days in 28) | 16 | £180 ÷ 16 = £11.25 per journey |
How much you get
Apply the normal bands to that per-journey value: 25% for 15–29 minutes (DR15 operators), 50% for 30–59 minutes, 100% for 60–119 minutes, and 100% of both legs for 120 minutes or more.
